HydroWorx™ Pool
    Our warm-water pool at the Dogwood Physical Therapy Clinic features an Underwater Treadmill that is highly durable and fully integrated into the pool floor. The pool also incorporates Resistance/Therapy Jets, Hydromassage, and Underwater Video Monitoring. The endless rubberized treadmill belts offer excellent traction and may be utilized with bare feet or shoes.
    The powered underwater treadmills (up to 8.5 mph) allow the user to correctly simulate land-based walking, running or sports-specific activities. Exercises such as walking, retro-walking, sprinting, shuffling, back-pedaling and plyometric activities are easily performed on the large treadmill surface.

Where elastic bandages, messy ice packs, and other alternatives offer limited adjustability, our Game Ready™ System allows easily adjusted pressure, managed temperature, and selected treatment time settings.

Hivamat 200®
Deep Oscillation Therapy is one of the most innovative forms of physical therapy available. Our Hivamat 200® allows us to  help speed up the healing process for athletes. The Hivamat is fully hands-on approach to reducing swelling and pain.

When home health physical therapy is not an option, Medicomp Physical Therapy clinics are available to provide safe and effective outpatient services that are close to your patient’s home. Our goal is to work closely with home health providers to maintain effective and comfortable treatment transitions for patients throughout Mississippi.

Massage Therapy:
Medicomp offers Massage Therapy at our Dogwood/Flowood location. Our therapist is trained in several types of specific massage techniques, including but not limited to, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Hot Stone Massage. While many of our patients enjoy a massage after physical therapy, the services is also offered to the general public. Gift packages are available.
